Their mission is to simplify the complexity of financial markets and deliver exceptional client service across continents.

As part of their ambitious expansion plans in Asia, they are now seeking a Malay-speaking Business Development Specialist to lead market penetration and sales initiatives across the SEA region. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the growth of a rising fintech brand in a high-potential market

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, establish, and grow new business opportunities across Southeast Asia
  • Develop and execute tailored sales and marketing strategies to reach and convert potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across the region
  • Lead and oversee sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment with KPIs and strategic goals
  • Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to refine business strategy
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align product offerings and sales efforts
  • Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities throughout Asia
  • Prepare performance reports and deliver insights and recommendations to management

Requirements

  • Fluent in Malay (C1) and proficient in English (B2+)
  • Must have a proven portfolio and active client base in the Forex/CFD trading sector in Asia
  • Residing in Malaysia or Southeast Asia is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and market expansion within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regional regulations, market dynamics, and client behaviors
  • Experience managing sales or business development teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Goal-driven mindset and ability to thrive in an independent, remote work setting
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Asia as needed
