Workster partners with a leading BPO/outsourcing company who is seeking to increase their German-speaking Team of Claims & Disputes Specialists for a major worldwide hospitality leader, working remotely anywhere out of Portugal. The successful candidate will have had experience in a similar role before.
Your Role
The core work is to provide excellent community support by investigating, evaluating and resolving claims for hosts and guests filling a claim under our Host Damage Protection, Host Liability Insurance, Experience Liability Insurance.
- Respond professionally and with empathy to Inbound/Outbound phone calls, messaging, chat channels including urgent situations.
- Focused on fully understanding policies and their rationale, while implementing those to ensure the best interest of our community is satisfied.
- Demonstrate ownership of user queries until resolution or escalation.
- Identify and escalate issues appropriately whenever needed.
- Investigate, identify and escalate issues appropriately by prioritizing urgent and sensitive matters.
- Compose thoughtful and accurate messages or customize prepared responses to customer queries
- Implementation of emergency plans and ability to communicate them in an effective and sensitive manner to individuals needing support
- Management of cases with varying complexities involving safety concerns by using trauma informed methodology and best practices.
- Research information and troubleshoot problems using available resources.
- Recognize product and process issues that impact our community and submit reports and feedback.
Your Qualifications
- You have a very good command of spoken German (C1+)
- Good English (at least B2 level)
- 1-3 years of experience in handling property damage, claims and dispute resolution insurance and Healthcare claims, resolution. Fraud or risk investigations
- Experience in handling and estimating contents and automobile / Watercraft losses is an advantage
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, 40h per week total in 8h shifts
- You can adapt quickly to changes in products, process and technology;
- Have proven track record of excellent attendance and time-keeping;
- Have good computer literacy.
