Workster is collaborating with a distinguished multi-licensed brokerage firm to appoint a Regional Director for the territories of India, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Thailand. This role is tailored for professionals with a robust background in the FX industry, particularly in cultivating institutional client relationships and leading high-performing teams.
Your Role
- Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential institutional clients through various channels, including cold outreach, networking, and leveraging existing industry connections.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies aimed at surpassing targets, securing significant deals, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients across diverse sectors, converting prospects into enduring partnerships.
- Industry Representation: Serve as the company’s ambassador at industry events, establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs), aligning their efforts with organizational objectives and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments within the FX sector to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Performance Reporting: Utilize CRM tools to meticulously track sales activities and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
Your Qualifications
- Language Proficiency: Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years in the FX industry, with a focus on direct sales to institutional clients and a history of closing substantial deals and exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of FX liquidity, trading platforms, and market dynamics.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing a team of BDMs, with a focus on driving performance and mentoring junior sales personnel.
- Professional Network: Established connections with institutional clients, including banks, hedge funds, and proprietary trading firms, as well as Introducing Broker (IB) relationships within the FX market.
- Skills: Outstanding negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Adaptability: Capacity to excel in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment.
- Market Insight: Comprehensive understanding of local market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory frameworks in the specified regions.
