Workster is collaborating with an award-winning liquidity and technology solutions company to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team in Australia.
Your Role
- Actively source and engage new institutional clients through targeted outreach, including cold calling, networking, and leveraging industry relationships. Develop and execute strategic plans to meet and surpass sales targets while ensuring efficient client onboarding.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads by employing advanced sales methodologies. Research prospective clients across sectors like FX, metals, energy, indices, and crypto, converting opportunities into successful partnerships.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, cultivating connections with key decision-makers. Deliver impactful presentations to highlight the company’s offerings and value proposition effectively.
- Identify and onboard high-performing Introducing Brokers (IBs), designing incentive programs and providing support to expand the IB network and market reach.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the FX sector to refine sales strategies and discover new opportunities.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and prepare regular reports. Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas while delivering actionable market feedback.
Your Qualifications
- Native-level or fluent English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the FX industry, specifically in selling liquidity solutions to institutional clients.
- Strong record of closing significant deals and surpassing sales objectives.
- Comprehensive understanding of FX liquidity, trading platforms, and market dynamics, combined with an established network of institutional clients (e.g., banks, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms).
- Experience in working with and growing Introducing Broker relationships.
- Excellent sales acumen, with outstanding negotiation and closing skills and a persuasive communication style.
- Resilient, self-driven, and capable of excelling in a high-pressure, target-oriented environment.
- Organized and proficient in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
