Workster is working with a leading B2B solution provider in the gaming industry to recruit an IT Support Specialist. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure, providing support for various hardware and software systems, and ensuring uninterrupted service during live events or broadcasts.

What you will do in this role:

  • Oversee and maintain critical equipment such as encoders, scanners, and desktop systems, ensuring high-quality service using monitoring tools and logs.
  • Handle incoming IT support requests, maintaining critical infrastructure including network switches, modules, and access points.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, audio-visual, security, and IT) to test new applications and ensure smooth integration across the organization.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring encoders and media servers are operational, particularly during live events and broadcasts.
  • Work closely with team leads to identify and resolve technical issues, implement equipment replacements as needed.
  • Manage user workstations and configurations, addressing IT incidents and ensuring continuity of service within specified timelines.
  • Oversee IT inventory, track equipment, conduct audits, and liaise with external suppliers to minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Improve IT infrastructure to meet company needs and ensure data security and confidentiality.

Your qualifications:

  • Native or fluent in English (C1 level) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting hardware and software in a technical environment.
  • Strong experience in supporting and troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux operating systems, including user and system management tools (e.g., Active Directory).
  • Proficient in installing, configuring, and resolving issues with hardware and software systems.
  • Experience in network management, ensuring stable connectivity across devices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment, working across multiple departments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to addressing technical issues.
  • IT support, networking, or operating system certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with streaming and broadcasting equipment is advantageous.
